The Palloliitto has confirmed their preparation schedule ahead of their Euro 2020 campaign next summer.
The calendar has been filled with two pairs of matches, away to Poland and France in March, and a trip to Stockholm before returning home to Finland to face Estonia in June, a week before the Huuhkajat’s tournament action starts in Copenhagen. The matches against Poland and France are scheduled for Friday the 27th and Tuesday the 31st respectively, while the games against our neighbors are scheduled for Thursday the 4th and Sunday the 7th of June. This game will however turn up two months before the Olympic Stadium re-opens it’s doors, meaning that the lucky people of Tampere will give the squad a deserved send off ahead of the tournament. Here is the full list of fixtures:
- 27.3.20: 20.30 (21.30 EET) Poland vs Finland in Wroclaw
- 31.3.20: 21.00 (22.00 EET) France vs Finland in Lyon
- 4.6. 20: Time TBC Sweden vs Finland at Friends Arena, Solna
- 7.6.20: Time TBC Finland vs Estonia at Ratinan Stadion, Tampere
While there has yet to be official confirmation from Urheilukatu, it is expected that the winter camp that has usually been arranged in either Dubai or Doha, will probably not happen in 2020.
