SHOW NOTES & LINKS

Keke, Rich, Mark & Mark are back together only two weeks after the last show. It’s like waiting for a bus, the Finnish Football Show, you wait two months for one, then two come along together. We’ll look back at the draw for the 2020-21 Nations League and Helsingin Sanomat journalist, Ari Virtanen’s, recent book launch. A book that features a mention of a certain Mark Hayton, yes, that Mark Hayton.

We also look forward to the new Finland national team kit for Euro 2020. And we’ll discuss whether there will actually BE a Euro 2020 due to the Corona virus, COVID-19 or whatever it’s called this week! Not forgetting the regular features, “ja sillä sipuli” and “Following”.

But let’s start this week with the frankly disappointing news that young Finn, Jimi Tauriainen, has joined Chelsea!

New Finland Kit

The FFS contains at least two football kit perverts, so there was much excitement about the leaked preview of the new Huuhkajat kits.

  • Keke wasn’t convinced and so ran a Twitter poll, asking ‘Do you love it or hate it?‘…

Mark H at Ari Virtanen’s Book Launch & Competition Time

  • Mark H tells about how he came to be quoted in the new book about the Finland national team, “Oi Suomi on” by Ari Virtanen, and his experiences at the launch event in Helsinki
