Markku Kanerva has named his squad ahead of two critical World Cup Qualifying Group D games against Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Finland currently trail Ukraine on goal difference and lie third in the group having drawn 1-1 back in March.
The squad sees a return for Juhani Ojala, Albin Granlund and Ilmari Niskanen. They arrive in place of the injured Daniel O’Shaughnessy, Jere Uronen and overlooked FC Emmen winger Jasin Amin Assenhoun. Tim Sparv may still be called up after a fitness check later this week.
UPDATE: On Monday, Marcus Forss and Kaan Kairinen dropped out of the squad due to injury HJK’s Roope Riski and CSKA Sofia midfielder Thomas Lam have been called up in their stead, while it was confirmed on Friday Tim Sparv will not recover in time to join the group.
