In episode 11 we review the end of the Veikkausliiga season but firstly, as usual, we discussed some recent news:
- Mark – Otto Fredrikson’s renaissance from serious injury to playing regularly in Norway. And the addition of some actual strikers to the Finnish National team, with the call-ups of Roope Riski and Simon Skrabb for the away game in Ukraine.
- Rich – Suomen Cup group stage shambles. And why clubs’ applications to participate in the competition are down by 80%. You need to listen carefully, it’s nuts!
- Mark W – Bit of love and congratulations to friend-of-the-show Mehmet Hetemaj who recently got engaged to Wilma.

- We then look back (and laugh at) our pre-season predictions on the league table, the Predictions article on Escape To Suomi. Needless to say, we were pretty hopeless, although Keke Myllari was less hopeless than most!
- We then probably compounded Johan’s annoyance by not showing HIM enough respect for not betting on his (correct) pre-season predictions 😂
- Rich then gives a brief overview of the promotion winners from Ykkönen and Kakkonen.
